Medical-standard acne treatment

MEDICAL-STANDARD ACNE TREATMENT
MEDICAL STANDARD

Medical - standard acne extraction
Medical-standard acne extraction is applied to non-inflammatory acne such as comedones, whiteheads, blackheads and acne with dried cores, helping to immediately clear pores and prevent recurrence. At Doctor Acnes Clinic, this procedure is performed according to medical standards, ensuring no dark scars or infections while effectively supporting the acne treatment process for faster and healthier skin recovery.
Biolight therapy
Light therapy is a non-invasive, safe acne treatment method recognized by the USA FDA. With antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating effects, blue light helps destroy C. acnes bacteria, stimulates acne cores to surface and dry and reduces excess oil. This method is also effective in anti-inflammation and reducing post-acne redness, helping the skin recover quickly and healthily.

Photodynamic therapy
Photodynamic Therapy is a non-invasive acne treatment that uses photosensitizers to enhance the effectiveness of light therapies like Biolight and IPL. When the photosensitizer penetrates the sebaceous glands and is activated by light, it creates active oxygen that kills C. acnes bacteria and weakens sebum gland activity. This process not only reduces acne but also regulates sebum and prevents recurrence, providing long-lasting results.
Chemical peel
Acne peeling is a technique using keratolytic chemicals to exfoliate dead skin cells, helping to push up acne cores and dry them out, while reducing inflammation, providing antibacterial benefits, regulating sebum, and shrinking pores. There are three levels of peeling: superficial, medium and deep. At Doctor Acnes, Doctors will individualize the peel protocol, selecting the agents, concentration, time and frequency to ensure safety and optimal treatment results.

Acne treatment mask
Acne treatment masks are formulated with ingredients that provide immediate action on the pathogenesis of acne, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and sebum-absorbing effects. Additionally, the mask helps in deep absorption of nutrients to recover acne-prone skin cells, shrink pores and fade acne spots, restoring smooth and naturally bright skin.
Iontophoresis
Doctor Acnes utilizes the D-Cool machine, combining three functions: hot, cold and iontophoresis, applying electroporation technology to deliver electrical pulses into cells and tissues in a short time, creating temporary micro-channels on the skin surface. Nutrients are pushed rapidly through these channels, enhancing skin penetration many times over. This is a perfect supporting therapy for acne treatment protocols as it helps active ingredients penetrate deep into the skin at high concentrations to exert sebum-reducing, anti-inflammatory and C. acnes-killing effects.

Mesotherapy for acne treatment
Acne Mesotherapy is a micro-injection technique that delivers active ingredients such as salicylic acid, retinol, peptides, amino acids, zinc, hyaluronic acid and vitamins deep into the dermis. This method is highly effective because the active ingredients directly target the inflammatory foci deep under the skin, bypassing the stratum corneum and avoiding degradation on the skin surface. Mesotherapy not only reduces inflammation and bacteria but also provides antioxidant support, aiding the acne treatment process more effectively than many other methods.
IPL for acne treatment
This USA FDA-approved method is effective for mild to moderate acne, especially active pustules and inflammation, reducing sebum production from sebaceous glands and decreasing inflammation. IPL also provides benefits in preventing and improving post-acne scarring by shrinking pores and boosting collagen production. Doctor Acnes uses the USA FDA-standard IPL Cellec V system, which ensures precise and high-quality pulses. The Cellec V system employs 9 light filters to output only the light pulses suitable for each treatment indication, limiting harmful spectral bands that could cause side effects like hyperpigmentation.

Long-pulse 1064nm laser
Doctor Acnes uses the Discovery Pico laser from Quanta System (Italy), which is USA FDA-certified for safety and efficacy. Discovery Pico features 532nm and 1064nm wavelengths with three emission modes: picosecond, short pulse and long pulse in a single device. Long-pulse 1064nm laser is a new option, providing high efficacy in current drug-free acne treatment protocols. This modern technology uses 1064nm long-pulse laser beams to penetrate deep into the skin, heating and shrinking sebaceous glands, reducing oil production and killing acne-causing bacteria, while also stimulating collagen production and reducing inflammation to improve acne conditions.
Long - pulse 585nm laser
- Doctor Acnes Dermatology Clinic owns the Quanta 585 laser system, an advanced technology with USA FDA and CE certifications for safety and efficacy. With a 585nm wavelength, it is considered the gold standard for treating skin vascular issues such as telangiectasia, hemangiomas, post-inflammatory erythema and supporting acne treatment. This technology uses long-pulse light to create thermal effects on sebaceous glands, helping to minimize the risk of acne, particularly effective for inflammatory acne and vascular-related skin issues.

DUOGlide laser for acne and sebum control
The Erbium Glass laser of the DEKA DUOGlide machine is an outstanding advanced technology for acne treatment and skin rejuvenation. With a 1540nm wavelength, the Erbium Glass laser is a non-invasive laser that helps reduce sebaceous gland activity, shrink pores and control excess oil—the primary factors causing acne. Simultaneously, this technology effectively kills bacteria, including C. acnes and inhibits its growth. With these characteristic features, the Erbium Glass laser controls the skin's acne-forming process (reducing sebum, anti-inflammation, antibacterial) and provides radical, long-term acne treatment without unwanted side effects.
RF microneedling
RF microneedling is an advanced method combining microneedling and RF waves, delivering superior results in skin regeneration and improvement. Micro-needles create micro-injuries on the skin, combined with RF waves that penetrate deep into the skin to help shrink pores, control sebaceous gland activity, constrict blood vessels, stimulate the natural healing process, and enhance collagen and elastin production.
This process not only regenerates the skin but also reduces the risk of clogging, inflammation, and infection caused by C. acnes bacteria. RF microneedling not only improves the current acne condition but also reduces the risk of recurrence, leaving the skin healthier and smoother.

Internal medicine
Medical acne treatment, consisting of oral and topical medications, is the vital foundation of acne treatment protocols according to Dermatology Association guidelines. Oral acne medications such as retinoids, antibiotics and other groups must be prescribed and monitored by a Specialist. Simultaneously, topical medications are part of the daily skincare routine, combined appropriately with cosmeceuticals and cosmetics to support the acne treatment process and maintain healthy skin. Treatment protocols must be individualized and may change depending on the needs, condition, affordability, and response of each customer.
